About us : A FEW WORDS FROM THE CHAIRMAN : TONY FAJARDO
Cheshunt RAVENS Walking Football Club are proud to be members of
the Walking Football association.
CHESHUNT RAVENS WALKING FOOTBALL CLUB
Our Club was established in September 2021, by three friends who wanted to return to the simple values that had originally drawn them in to playing Walking Football, FUN, FITNESS and FRIENDSHIP. Our sessions are aimed at the Over 50s and we welcome all mixed abilities and those recovering from health related conditions. Walking Football is played on a non-contact basis and at first can take a little getting used to, as there is always the instinct to run. Once this is curbed, the enjoyment that is experienced and the benefits to health and mental well-being are invaluable.
CHESHUNT RAVENS WALKING FOOTBALL CLUB aims to offer recreational and competitive opportunities in Walking Football, to promote Walking Football in the local community and have a positive effect on the lives of it's members and participants. To provide a fun, safe and positive experience, whether in terms of sports participation, or during social events. To ensure a duty of care to all participants and that everyone receives fair and equal treatment. The Club will also abide by Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination policy legislation.
Whatever your reasons for wanting to play Walking Football, you can be assured of a very warm welcome by everyone at CHESHUNT RAVENS WALKING FOOTBALL CLUB.
